Allocated Spaces — Overview and Management

Allocated Spaces allow managers to reserve desks, rooms, or parking spots for users or teams on a fixed or recurring schedule.

Who can allocate spaces?

Managers can:

  • Create or edit allocations for users or groups.

  • Assign recurring allocations (e.g. every Monday).

  • Delete or reassign the entire allocation.

End users cannot create allocations themselves.


Can an allocated space be deleted for a specific day?

Explanation:

  • Users can release their allocated space for a single day — this only affects that date.

  • Managers can delete or change the whole allocation but cannot remove just one day from a recurring pattern.

Tip:
Encourage users to release their spaces early when they’re not coming in — this makes the workspace available for others.


How to allocate a space

Go to:
My building → Buildings management → Spaces → Your space → Edit → Booking tab → Active allocation



By a button "Add user" I will dedicate a space to user Jaroslav Novák for chosen days in a week.

How to View Allocated Spaces

Allocated Spaces are desks, rooms, or parking spots reserved in advance for specific users or teams.
They appear in both the Spaceti App and the Admin Console, depending on your role and permissions.


For End Users

You can easily see which spaces have been allocated to you.

In the Spaceti App

  1. Open the Spaceti mobile or web app.

  2. Go to the Spaces or My Bookings section.

  3. Switch to the Allocated tab (if available).

  4. You’ll see your allocated desks, rooms, or parking spots listed by date.

Can I see my allocated space on the map?
Yes — your allocated space is visible directly on the map.

  • It appears with a distinct label or color (often with a lock icon or “Allocated” tag).

  • If you tap or click the space, you’ll see details (name, time, date).

  • You can also release the space for a specific day if you don’t plan to use it.


For Managers / Admins

Managers can view and manage allocations for users or spaces.

In the Spaceti Admin Console

  1. Go to Spaces Management → Allocated Spaces.

  2. Filter allocations by space, user, or building.

  3. Click any entry to view details such as:

    • Who the space is allocated to

    • Allocation pattern (daily / weekly)

    • Space location

Can managers see allocations on the map?
Yes — in the Map View, allocated spaces are visually marked (for example, locked or colored differently).
This helps managers quickly identify which spaces are reserved and which are free.
