Release notes - August 2026

This release introduces significant enhancements to our licensing infrastructure, workplace analytics, and cross-platform integration capabilities.

These updates are designed to streamline administrative workflows and provide deeper, more actionable insights into portfolio-level workplace utilization.

Administration & Licensing:

Advanced User Licensing (Phase 1)

This release marks the introduction of the first phase of our new licensing system, providing administrators with granular visibility into license consumption across different tiers.

  • Self-Serve Management: A new licensing administration page allows managers to monitor seat limits and identify specific users assigned to each license tier.

  • Automated Enforcement: To ensure compliance with tenant-level seat limits, the system now implements hard-blocked role assignments; administrators will be notified immediately if a role assignment would exceed the available seat capacity.

  • Pro Role Integration: New "Intelligence Pro" and "MCP" roles have been introduced to facilitate access to advanced AI and analytics features.

Bulk Space Allocation Management

The administrative interface now includes a dedicated page for the bulk management of fixed space allocations, significantly reducing the manual effort required to manage large-scale workplace environments.

  • Streamlined Workflows: Administrators can utilize new drag-and-drop functionality and auto-assignment tools to manage hundreds of allocations simultaneously.

  • Consolidated Notifications: User communication has been optimized through a single, consolidated email notification that aggregates all allocation updates, preventing inbox congestion.

Custom Building Working Hours

Buildings now utilize structured working hours configuration within the building settings, replacing previous free-text fields.

  • Analytics Integration: These configured hours now serve as the default time range for analytics reports, ensuring that occupancy data accurately reflects active business hours.

  • AI Context: Spaceti AI and MCP now respect these structured hours when processing natural language queries (e.g., "What was the occupancy last week?" will automatically filter for configured working hours).

AM/PM time format on web

The web application now supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. Time displays and time pickers will follow the user’s browser or device locale settings, so users configured for a 12-hour locale will see times with AM/PM.

No additional configuration is required in Spaceti. Users with a 24-hour locale will continue to see the 24-hour format.

AI & Analytics:

Spaceti AI: Portfolio-Level Insights

Spaceti AI has been upgraded to support multi-building context, allowing for sophisticated cross-building comparisons and portfolio-wide analysis.

  • Multi-Agent Workflow: The assistant now utilizes a router-based workflow to handle complex queries across multiple buildings without requiring manual building selection.

  • Enhanced Visualization: Charting has been rebuilt on the Vega-Lite framework, providing more robust data visualizations within the chat interface.

  • Formatted Responses: AI replies are now rendered in markdown, improving the readability of technical summaries and data breakdowns.

Occupancy Analytics Refinements

  • Exclude Empty Time: A new toggle allows administrators to exclude hours with zero occupancy from average calculations, preventing sparsely used buildings from appearing artificially underutilized.

  • Typical Day Heat Map: A new visualization mode provides a "typical day" view based on historical averages, making it easier to identify recurring peak usage patterns.

  • Animated Exports: Occupancy heat maps can now be exported as video or GIF files, facilitating the sharing of utilization trends in a dynamic format.

Booking & Workplace Experience:

Real-Time Booking Map

The booking map has been optimized for live on-site usage, particularly for wall-mounted kiosks and reception displays.

  • Live Auto-Refresh: The map now features a "Now" view with a 1-minute auto-refresh cycle, ensuring that current availability is always accurate.

  • Simplified Time Selection: Users can quickly toggle between Now, Next 1 hour, and Custom planning views.

Cross-Platform Status Consistency

We have standardized the space detail displays across the Web, iOS, Android, and Meeting Room App (MRA) interfaces. This ensures that terminology (e.g., Allocations and Sensor Data) and occupancy status indicators are uniform across all user touchpoints.

Integrations & Hardware:

Gantner Net.Lock (eLoxx365) Integration

Users can now perform remote locker operations directly through the Spaceti mobile application. Supported Gantner Net.Lock lockers can be opened via the iOS or Android app, provided the integration has been configured by a tenant administrator.

Microsoft Places (Final Testing)

Spaceti sensor data is now prepared to flow natively into the Microsoft Places ecosystem. This integration pushes occupancy telemetry continuously, allowing organizations to view Spaceti-sourced data within their Microsoft 365 environment. Note: This feature is currently in final validation.

Spaceti Status Page:

We have launched the new Spaceti Status Page, providing a central place to check the current availability and operational status of Spaceti services.

The page provides:

  • Current operational status of individual Spaceti services

  • Service uptime and historical availability

  • Information about ongoing and past incidents

  • Updates about scheduled maintenance and service disruptions

We recommend that administrators, IT teams, partners, and other relevant stakeholders subscribe to updates using the Subscribe to Updates button on the status page.

Subscribers will be notified about incidents, their progress and resolution, as well as other important service status updates.

App Versions:

To access the latest features, please ensure your devices are updated to the following versions:

  • iOS App: 5.1.0

  • Android App: 5.7.0

  • Meeting Room App (MRA): 2.18.3
