What users will see
Once the tenant license expiration date has passed, users will see a restricted-access overlay after opening the mobile app.
The overlay informs the user that the tenant license has expired and provides two available actions:
Switch tenant β switch to another available tenant
Log out β securely log out of the application
What remains accessible
While the restriction overlay is active:
Android
Android
Users can still access:
Home
Settings
All other navigation items become unavailable.
Inside Settings, only the following actions remain accessible:
Log out
Delete account
Privacy Policy
Terms of Use
iOS
iOS
The application displays the restriction overlay after expiration and limits normal app usage.
How expiration is verified
The mobile application checks the tenant expiration date through the Subscriptions API.
The restriction overlay is displayed only after the configured expiration date has passed.
Important setup note for administrators
The tenant expiration date must always be configured in Super-admin.
If no expiration date is filled:
the current iOS application may incorrectly display the restriction overlay,
even if the tenant should remain accessible.
This behavior is currently being improved and will be adjusted in a future release.
What this improves
This update helps organizations:
manage tenant licensing more consistently,
prevent unintended access after subscription expiration,
and improve license visibility directly in the mobile experience.
Need help?
If users are unexpectedly blocked:
verify the tenant expiration date in Super-admin,
confirm the subscription is active,
and verify the Subscriptions API is returning the correct expiration information.
