Requirements

For End Users

Users automatically receive notifications when enabled.

Users can:

  • opt out from profile settings,

  • manage notification preferences.


For Managers & Administrators

Administrators can:

  • enable or disable notifications,

  • configure offline thresholds,

  • select participating buildings.

Building managers receive alerts only for buildings within their scope.

  • At the organisation level, administrators can enable or disable Offline Hardware Notifications for the organisation and configure the offline percentage threshold that determines when notifications are sent. The configured threshold applies across all buildings.

  • At the building level, notifications can be independently enabled or disabled for each building, allowing organisations to decide which locations should participate in monitoring and reporting. Buildings without registered hardware are automatically excluded from notifications.

  • Organisation managers automatically receive notifications for all buildings within their scope, while building managers receive notifications only for buildings they manage.

  • Users are automatically enrolled in notifications when the feature is enabled, but can opt out globally from their profile settings on both web and mobile applications.

  • Emails include direct links to the Dashboard of the selected building and user profile settings.


Known Limitations

  • Hardware is considered offline after 24h without data

  • Unsupported hardware integrations are excluded
