Building Visibility Control

The Building Visibility Control feature allows administrators to unpublish a building from regular users while it’s still being prepared or configured.

Updated this week

Overview

A new option lets you control whether a building is publicly visible to all users or only to administrators and managers.
This gives organizations more flexibility when preparing, testing, or temporarily hiding a building setup before launch.

How to Use

  1. Go to Administration → Buildings Management.

  2. Select the building you want to edit.

  3. Open the Settings tab.

  4. Use the “Published” toggle to enable or disable building visibility.

  • When the toggle is off, the building is not published and can be viewed only by administrators and managers.

  • The unpublished status is visually indicated by a crossed-out building icon in the selector and a notification message on the web dashboard.

Platform Availability

  • Web: ✅ Full functionality

  • Mobile: ❌ Not applicable (visibility controlled via web only)

  • Tablet / Kiosk: ❌ Not applicable

Notes

  • Regular users cannot see unpublished buildings.

  • Ideal for staging, onboarding new sites, or hiding spaces during renovation.
