Booking Data Not Showing Correctly on Map

What’s happening?

Some desks may appear as booked on the map, but when you open the schedule, no booking is shown.


Why does this happen?

This is usually because different views show different types of data:

  • Occupancy Map → shows real-time usage (based on sensors)

  • Schedule / Booking View → shows actual reservations

This means:

  • A desk can appear as occupied on the map if someone is physically sitting there

  • Even if no booking exists in the system


What should you use?

  • To check real-time usage → use the Occupancy Map

  • To check bookings/reservations → use the Schedule or Booking view


Example

A desk may:

  • Show as “occupied” on the map

  • But have no booking when you open the schedule

This is expected behavior.


When to contact support

If you notice:

  • Desks showing as booked in the Booking view (not occupancy) but no reservation exists

  • Or inconsistent behavior across the same view

Please contact support and include:

  • Desk IDs (e.g. B-WS8, B-WS9, etc.)

  • Screenshots

  • Date and time of the issue
