Crestron XiO Cloud

This guide explains how to connect your Crestron XiO Cloud environment with Spaceti so that your sensors can be synchronized and placed on the map.

Updated this week

What You Need

To enable the integration, please provide the following:

  1. Crestron XiO Cloud Account ID

  2. Crestron XiO Cloud API Key

These two parameters allow Spaceti to authenticate with your XiO Cloud environment and retrieve your device list.

How the Integration Works

Once the Account ID and API Key are provided:

  1. Spaceti connects to your Crestron XiO Cloud tenant.

  2. The system automatically pulls the list of sensors/devices available through the XiO Cloud API.

  3. These devices can then be placed on the Spaceti map by our team or your administrator.

This enables sensor monitoring, occupancy analytics, and device status visibility directly inside the Spaceti platform.

Where to Find Your Account ID & API Key

  1. Log into your XiO Cloud portal at https://portal.crestron.io.

  2. In the left navigation, go to Settings β†’ Account Settings.

  3. In the Profile tab under the Details accordion, toggle Enable API Access.

  4. Once API access is enabled, the portal will display the Subscription Key (API Key).

  5. The portal or Crestron support will provide the Account ID that corresponds to your tenant when public API access is enabled.

If you do not see the Subscription Key or Account ID, contact your XiO Cloud account administrator or Crestron Support to enable public API access.

Send Credentials Securely

Please share the Account ID and API Key with your Spaceti onboarding contact through a secure channel (never via public chat).
